Poised for Growth, GX Creative Communications Forges Relationship with Senior-Level Marketing Expert Georgetown, Texas. (October 26, 2006) Williamson County-based integrated marketing communications firm GX Creative Communications announced the engagement of Pamela Oldham to lead the company’s expansion and new business development efforts. Oldham brings to GX a highly successful and innovative 20+ year track record of results-driven marketing programs in domestic and international consumer, business-to-business, and government markets for a diverse set of clients in healthcare, telecommunications, education, information technology, not-for-profit and membership associations, and systems integration. She recently returned to Texas after living in the Washington, D.C. region, where she worked with top companies and organizations such as Nortel, National Geographic Society, MCI, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), University of Maryland University College, Verizon, Sprint Communications, and others. Prior to establishing her marketing consultancy in 1998, she served Nextel Communications (now Sprint Communications) as regional director of business development. For Nextel, Oldham helped plan and execute the corporation’s first major product launch nationally and regionally, developed and directed the implementation of the company’s first integrated marketing communications campaign, and created the blueprint for Nextel’s eventual entry into and leadership role in the law enforcement and public safety market. Her previous experience includes working with the predecessor organization that is now the public sector division of Northrop Grumman, and has worked with and advised marketing and advertising agencies and dozens of hospitals, medical centers, and health care practices throughout the country. “We are very excited that Pamela Oldham has signed on with us as we enter the next level of our company’s evolution. She brings a significant body of knowledge and best practices that will enhance our firm and the services and capabilities we offer to clients,” said Judith Manriquez, Partner of GX Creative Communications. Oldham was one of the early pioneers in integrated marketing communications, a highly effective strategy in which marketers consider and leverage the complete array of marketing tools and tactics available to achieve objectives sought. The strategy, when employed in conjunction with precise targeting, significantly increases cost-effectiveness and improves return on investment. Through her recent work as a professional writer and author, Oldham has gained an even more impressive public relations skill set and improved the added value she provides to clients through her recent work. Her articles have appeared in prominent national and regional outlets, including The Washington Post, Family Circle, and others. “I’m thrilled to join forces with GX Creative. The firm has a solid reputation, a strong group of long-term clients, and an exceptional track record of achieving measurable results. I look forward to playing a significant role in their continued growth,” said Oldham. |
